“In a world of excess and abundance, the ability to recognise true quality allows us to elevate our existence. We are for those who know the difference. The difference is Gaggenau.”

Gaggenau Heritage

Founded 1683 — Over 340 Years of German Precision

Founded in Germany’s Black Forest region in 1683, Gaggenau has spent more than three centuries at the intersection of culinary culture and precision engineering. The brand pioneered the built-in oven, the glass ceramic cooktop and the combi-steam oven for the domestic kitchen, these are innovations that fundamentally shaped the way we cook.

Each appliance is a considered composition of high-quality materials and precision-engineered components assembled to the standard of a professional kitchen instrument. Gaggenau does not simply make appliances that perform. It makes appliances that endure, inspire and elevate every kitchen they enter. Chosen by professional chefs, architects and discerning homeowners in over 70 countries worldwide.

The Gaggenau Difference

Appliances designed to last for decades rather than seasons.

Luxury isn’t measured by features alone. It’s defined by how effortlessly technology disappears into daily life.

Gaggenau appliances are designed with an architectural mindset, where every detail has a purpose. From solid stainless-steel controls and precision-engineered doors to intuitive interfaces and professional-grade cooking performance, every appliance is created to enhance the experience of living rather than dominate it.

Gaggenau & SieMatic — Two Benchmarks, One Kitchen

Seamlessly Integrated within Every Kitchen We Design

Gaggenau’s appliances are not simply placed within a kitchen, they are integrated into it. Their precise dimensions, considered materials and architectural presence make them natural partners for SieMatic’s furniture collections. At RidgeWey, we specify and integrate both as a unified composition.

Whether you are commissioning a complete new kitchen or upgrading individual appliances within an existing one, our team manages the entire process from specification and ordering through to installation and commissioning.

Your Questions Answered

Gaggenau — Everything You Need to Know

Whether you are considering your first Gaggenau appliance or planning a complete suite, the answers below cover the questions our clients ask most — from compatibility and fitting through to warranty and long-term value.

Why should I consider upgrading to Gaggenau?

Gaggenau is widely regarded as one of the finest appliance brands available — combining over 340 years of German engineering heritage with professional-grade performance and a timeless architectural aesthetic. For clients who appreciate quality that endures, Gaggenau offers precision combi-steam cooking, advanced induction technology and exceptional food preservation in appliances designed to perform beautifully for decades. The difference, once experienced, is immediately apparent.

What is the difference between the Expressive and Minimalist series?

Both series offer the same uncompromising Gaggenau performance — the difference is entirely aesthetic. The Expressive series is a visual statement: a floating stainless steel ring with smoked glass passepartout, available in 76 or 60 cm widths, designed to be seen and admired. The Minimalist series is about disappearance — near-invisible controls, a horizontal emphasis and flush integration make it the natural choice for handleless kitchens where the architecture should read uninterrupted. Our showroom displays both; seeing them together is the best way to decide.

Do I need to renovate my entire kitchen to upgrade to Gaggenau?

Not at all. Many clients replace individual appliances — an oven, a hob, a warming drawer — without changing anything else. Gaggenau follows standard European cut-out dimensions, so like-for-like replacements are often straightforward. Our team will always verify cabinet dimensions, electrical supply, ventilation requirements and plumbing connections before recommending any product, to ensure the fit is perfect.

What is the Vario system and is it right for my kitchen?

The Gaggenau Vario is a modular professional cooking workstation — a bespoke cooking zone where individual modules are combined within a single plan to create a tailored cooking experience. Modules include induction zones, Teppan Yaki plates, electric grills, wok burners, downdraft extraction and more. Each module sits flush within the worktop, creating a seamless surface when not in use. It is the ideal solution for serious home cooks and for open-plan kitchens where performance and aesthetics must both be exceptional.

Can I mix Gaggenau with other premium brands?

Absolutely. Many of our clients have kitchens with appliances from Miele, Siemens, Sub-Zero or Wolf and choose to upgrade individual pieces to Gaggenau over time. Gaggenau’s design language — stainless steel, minimal controls, flush integration — works naturally alongside other premium built-in appliances. Our team will advise on the most cohesive specification for your existing kitchen.

Are Gaggenau appliances made in Germany?

Yes. Gaggenau appliances are designed and manufactured with a strong commitment to German engineering and precision. The brand’s flagship products — including its iconic ovens and cooktops — are manufactured in Germany using premium materials and rigorous quality control. With a heritage dating to 1683, Gaggenau combines centuries of craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology to produce appliances of exceptional durability and performance.

How long do Gaggenau appliances last?

With proper care, many Gaggenau owners enjoy reliable performance for 15 to 20 years or more. Their robust construction, premium materials and precision engineering are designed to withstand the demands of daily use while maintaining outstanding performance throughout. Gaggenau products are a long-term investment — not a replacement cycle.

Does RidgeWey handle installation and after-sales support?

Yes, fully. We work with experienced, Gaggenau-familiar installation engineers who handle delivery, fitting and all electrical or gas connections. Once installed, RidgeWey remains your first point of contact — for guidance on getting the most from your appliances and for warranty or service requirements, where we liaise directly with Gaggenau’s authorised service network on your behalf. You will never need to navigate that process alone.
