SieMatic CLASSIC Gloss Lacquer, Smoked Oak & Nickel Accents

Timeless Grandeur Recast in Arabescato Marble & Nickel Gloss

A SieMatic Classic kitchen of exceptional material depth — grain-matched Smoked Oak, warm grey shaker cabinetry and a fully marbled interior held together by the precision of polished nickel throughout.

SieMatic Classic has long represented the pinnacle of timeless kitchen design — its shaker-influenced forms carrying a quiet authority that is neither trend-led nor period-bound. This project takes that foundation and elevates it through the most considered material composition: Arabescato marble, grain-matched Smoked Oak and an unapologetic commitment to nickel gloss detailing.

The brief was to create a kitchen that would feel genuinely grand without feeling formal — a space capable of holding its own against impressive architecture while remaining warm and deeply functional. The SieMatic Classic collection, with its panelled door profiles and refined proportions, provided the ideal vehicle for that ambition.

What defines this project is the seamless integration of contrast: the cool luminosity of the marble against the warmth of the smoked oak; the precision of the nickel hardware against the softness of the warm grey lacquer. Each pairing is deliberate, and the result is a kitchen of rare coherence — sophisticated at every scale, from the full room to the finest handle detail.

SieMatic CLASSIC

The Classic collection’s panelled shaker doors in sterling grey gloss lacquer, wide nickel gloss framing and smoked oak interiors establish the architectural language.

Professional Cooking

A professional range sits at the heart of the cooking zone, flanked by nickel drawer packs and surmounted by the impressive extractor — performance and aesthetics in complete alignment.

Luxurious Finishes

The bespoke extractor hood and the grain-matching of every Smoked Oak panel — the level of craft and coordination that defines a SieMatic kitchen project.

Sterling Grey Lacquer & Arabescato Marble

The island is the compositional heart of the kitchen, finished in SieMatic Classic’s warm grey gloss lacquer with shaker-style panelled doors. The familiar geometry of the shaker profile is elevated here through scale and precision — the nickel gloss bar handles introducing a jewellery-like quality that reads as crisp and highly resolved at every angle.

Above, the worktop continues the Arabescato marble that defines the wider kitchen — its distinctive white ground and sweeping grey veining wrapping the island in a chamfered-edge profile. The chamfered detail is a deliberate choice: a traditional form reinterpreted with contemporary precision, it catches the light beautifully while referencing the architectural language of the Classic collection itself.

The Arabescato worktop is continued as a full-height waterfall end panel on the island, ensuring the stone reads as a singular, sculptural element rather than a surface applied to furniture.

Grain-Matched Oak — Considered at Every Joint

The tall cabinetry is executed in Smoked Oak veneer, grain-matched across every panel so the timber reads as a continuous, uninterrupted surface. This level of craft — ensuring the grain flows without interruption from door to door — is the detail that separates furniture-quality cabinetry from kitchen manufacture, and it is central to the character of this project.

The warm tones of the smoked oak sit in deliberate dialogue with the cooler sterling grey of the shaker island, creating a tonal balance that prevents either material from dominating. The combination is further animated by the luminosity of the surrounding Arabescato marble, which reflects light into the oak and softens its depth.

Nickel gloss framing between the tall units reinforces the material language of the wider kitchen, ensuring the oak panels read as part of a unified architectural composition rather than a separate element.

Nickel Gloss Display Shelving & Open Architecture

The display wall shelving is executed in nickel gloss — its open-frame construction introducing lightness against the full-height Arabescato marble backdrop. The shelving is both functional and sculptural: the nickel frames acting as a fine grid that organises objects with the same precision the kitchen applies to everything else.

Below, base units with wide nickel gloss framing and smoked oak interiors reinforce the material language throughout. The combination of the reflective nickel frame and the warm timber interior creates depth and warmth, particularly when the interior illumination is active — the oak glowing gently through the glass doors and bringing life to the lower register of the kitchen.

Classic in Form. Extraordinary in Detail.
